Default Members in Vermont are in trouble

HISTORIC FLOODING in Vermont. I hope we hear from member Fatmans from Northfield, VT as soon as possible. Keene NH Rescue 1 and Boat enroute to Northfield VT for 200 people trapped in a building in water. The Dog River in Northfield, VT washed away the footbridge. they're under a flash flood warning until 9:45 tonight. Hearing of catastrophic flooding. Television station WDEV says Northfield is being evacuated. Train tracks have been completely taken out.

This is just one community, many many more are also in trouble

    Prayers forthcoming.

Quite the show near Northfield MA as well.
    Shelburne Falls downtown Flooded
    Brattleboro VT downtown flooded
Greenfield Flooded, Covered bridge blown off its pillars and floating down stream. Houses floating on rivers in multiple places.
    Deerfield flooded,
    Rt 5 closed
    Interstate 91 closed
and there is much more too.

The Deerfield river, usually flows at 350 ~900 CFS. Today it is at 38,500 on the upper section aned 50,000 CFS on the lower section. Dams have unscheduled releases because they are in danger of collapsing, water is over the tops of others. Quite the mess. Fortunately there is no loss of life in the area.

I and mine are all doing fine and glad of it. Hope all of you faired as well as we did.

Unhappy Terrible flooding in Central and Southern Vermont

Many areas isolated due to road and bridge wash outs. At least three old historic wooden bridges gone. City of Rutland cut off by washouts on Rt. 7 and probably Rt. 4 as well. My old home place under water for a while too. Reckon fall "leaf peeper" tourist season and winter skiing may be washed out also according to reports of all the roads and bridges gone. Lots of videos available via computer websites and TV stations. Only one loss of life reported so far.

Hey there Gang!!! Alive and well, but man we took a serious hit!!! I'm up higher so mainly just a bunch of tree branchs, but after the last flooding everything is worse than before. Hard to get anywhere with all the roads damaged. Some communities are totally cut off, so the Guard choppers might be flying food and water in.

I'll check in when I can, and thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts!!!!!!!
