Here in Delaware, Irene has all but gone away. We're on her tail coats now. Just a bit gusty with some small rain squalls. The stream that overflowed last night is back in it's banks and only damaged the culvert it overflowed a little (took away some of the soil and grass that protects it). There are several pieces of former flotsam (logs, branches, trees) along the side of the road, but the neighbors seem to have made it through unscathed. We are saying goodbye to old Irene and hoping she doesn't do much damage on her way North. Stay dry and safe up the NE Coast.
