My main beater is one like this, mine still has the original leather sheath, this one looks ho-made. Its a Herters bowie I bought from Herters in the 70's for less than $2. Its "hand forged" with a African Tiger wood handle (supposed to be impervious it anything). Its tuff bladed, mine has been sharpened many times and keeps a fine edge. There is an ebay listing right now that the seller wants $112.00 for one.
