Build your own Hook & Hackle. Best little rod I have, really like it.

Check Global Dorber a sponsor on FAOL. I have one of their Weave rods a 2wt. great for Bluegills, Perch, Crappie and small Bass,
    trout also. My favorite rod.

How big is your bank? For a factory rod, look at TFO Pro series 8' 2wt at $150 or the TFO Finesse 2wt at $180 are great buys. You can build one for less than $100 plus your time, or in my case someone else's time. I had someone build one for me for $100.

Jalama, have been following your quest for a nice 2wt. because it is on my bucket list. I tried a sweet Orvis 2wt. ( superfine) and fell in love but the price is out of my league. Was wondering what rod you chose and why? Trying to wade thru the conflicting statements I read about here and elsewhere about a nice 2wt. Your thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks kindly and have a smooth day. Michael J.
