I am trying to record a short video on my camera to send to my nephew. I can record it but can find no instructions for getting it into my computer. Has anyone done this and how did you do it?

Is there not an :SD card" in your camera??. Just place that into a card reader and and copy/import the file to Picasa or any other photo management program from which you can then e-mail,

PS: Or connect directly camera to computer via the cable that came with the camera

Thanks guys. The USB cord only downloads the still pictures but my brother has a card reader i can borrow.

Unless you own a very old computer, there is usually a built in card readed. I bought a reader and then looked closer at my laptop and sure as heck...............................

I have the same problem, no worrys with geting pics off but can't work out how to get the video clips on to a computer. Not sure about an sd card reader being any better, my buddy works in video and tv editing and could not get the movie off even on his pro suite. I can plug the camera in to my TV and view it on that, but not on a computer.
Funny how the camera has instructions for everything except how to download a video clip.
