    Talking Up Date on Gnorm.

As many of you know Gnorm the traveling Gnome and our trusted guide suffered an almost fatal accident last week during the Michigan Fish-In.
The point-o-plasti was done this evening and Gnorm is resting easily. Photos of the plaster surgery will be coming soon. Just a few more minor surgeries and he will be good as new.

Fortunately, he's young (for a gnome), and resilient. Given the remarkably quick point-o-plasti, he should have very little scaring. Keep us posted!

    Brad,
And with THAT thought in mind, I think I left a half (small) bottle of Cognac there for to ease the pain of HIS injury.

PS: Sorry I wasn;t able to treat y'all to dinner onaccounta my emergency split. I'll make up for it at Coopers Hawk when you pass thru my area on your trek Westward.

Just how long did you think the Cognac was going to sit there once it was opened and you were gone (BTW, it was smooth)? That's why the George Dickel is sitting on the bench next to Gnorm.

This thread should last longer than the "Thread Stopper." Hopefully, Gnorm's recovery won't take as long.

There's a George Dickel bottle sitting on the table but it appears the contents was used a pain killer or for artistic inspiration on the repair. What is the repair substance? I would have thought with the Tennessee sipping whisky and Jack present Bondo would have been appropriate.

    Jeff,
EXCELLENT observation and conclusion. This may be an injury caused by the handlers while "gargling the grape" as they say in the Emerald Isle.
