    Default Two Flies

Here are a couple I just dressed, a wet fly and a bead chironomid.

    Iron Blue Upright
    Hook: #14
    Thread: Claret silk.
    Rib: Claret silk.
Body: Black & natural mole fur mixed.
    Thorax: As above.
    Wing: Dark dun hen, Conranch.

I did not let the Chironomid dry properly,
it has some dust particles from the bench.
I don't suppose the trout will care.

I've heard Scottish trout are very fastidious...

They come over here, mix with the Germans, hang around with char and turn in to slobs.

    Donald,

Love the Iron Blue Upright. Looks like a killer fly.

The buzzer is waaaayyy to dusty and unkempt . Kidding, it's a gorgeous dressing that will be imbedded in a bunch of fish jaws.

    Well done on both flies.

    Donald,

Very nice flies. I like the Chironomid and think it would do well in a lake that I fish. I need to add that fly to my arsenal. Thanks for posting.

Very nice ties. The dust just adds a natural "fuzz". I'm sure it was on purpose.
