Cost of Fish

Friday I went to a reservoir & caught 5 planter rainbows, 10 -12 inches. Nice looking fish, pink meat, etc. I took the fish and gave them to a rancher who lets me fish on his pond.

This morning I went to the store for groceries and while there looked at the trout in the meat section. I was amazed to find out that 5 rainbows in the store that were about the size of the ones I caught would have cost me $25.00. Thats 5 buck a fish. I didn't think it would be near that. Guess I won't complain about the cost of a license anymore.

It's just another indicator of our raging, out of control prices. Money...that's what I want! Pink Floyd was indeed ahead of their time!
2 or 3 years past I'm thinking those trout would have been half what you would pay for them today! All driven by oil!

Makes me want to puke!
