    Parnelli,

My comment was solely meant in jest. I guess I should have spread some throughout the short post.

It sounds like you've been busy with those projects. I know I appreciated the FAOL Fly Pattern cd that you developed and I got several years ago (when I was posting as 'tyeflies').

Well, thanks and how's the fishing in Bora Bora?

I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

The hackle thing has amazed most of us! From the hair extensions to the long ear rings, the feather growers of America are laughing all the way to the banks! While I certainly don't advocate it, they do look quite pretty in the sunlight!

PS ... The job that you are doing ... the service that you are working ... for FAOL is beyond phenomenal. Thank you!

Betty, what Allan was doing is telling us, in code, that Steve has actually stashed his capes and saddles in TORA Bora...
(Oh darn, my low self-esteem is showing itself again. Either that, or I'm just an inveterate smart <expletive deleted>.)

Ail the capes I've collected over the years are in off-shore accounts.

2 weeks! Thats nothing. I lost a pair of sunglasses for almost 3 years. It wasn't until I traded my old pickup for a new one and was looking in all the nooks and crannies in the old truck when I found the "lost" sunglasses in the little overhead storage compartment made to hold, of all things, sunglasses.

Here's a link to the article I said I was interviewed for. I wonder who the anonymous West coast rancher is? LOL

    Hey Gang, HEADS UP !
I went by Bass Pro last night after work, Mother and two daughters were looking for hackles. Sorry dear, no more left.
After she left, the guy working there told me that now the hairdressers have just discovered Flashabou and Krystal Flash. (seroiously) Buy what you need while you can.
Does anyone know how long is takes a Flashabou to grow out its "feathers"?

Yep! Our BPS and Cabelas are all out of hackle ... and word has come down that Flashabou and Krystal flash are going quickly! Stock up while you can!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Please allow me to fan the flames. A cut and paste from the Atlanta area Craiglist today. Conyers is Jim Smith territory, but I feel sure this is not Jim's ad.
