Thanks so much for the memories! I was on my father's boat with a couple of big shots from the Michigan Dept of Fisheries who at the time 'thought' you couldn't catch a salmon on a fly. I brought several to boat that day in Frankfort MI when the first batch returned. What a thrill.
They were caught on polar bear white and blue streamers fished from a down rigger. Dr. Tanner left a terrific legacy!
