    Default Spaghetti Frutti di Mare

    "Fruit Of The Sea"

I am sauteing the squid in butter, onion and garlic to make it the right consistency.

After that I will add the shrimp, mussels and baby clams to the sauce.

This will be served over angel hair pasta with some fresh Parmesan along with a glass of red wine.

Check back later for another photo.

Do you need to be in a state of Grace to eat that? looks like a sacrament to me.

    Default Fleischk@se and Weisswurst

Having my last deck party tomorrow on my deck

    Weather says 70 degrees tomorrow.

Ordered to German food from my favorite meat place.

    Fleischk@se
This is Bavarian version of the famous German meat loaf . This is a flavorful, compact, pink meat-loaf. It consists of corned beef, pork, bacon and onions and is made by grinding the ingredients very finely and then baking it as a loaf in a bread pan until it has a crunchy brown crust.

    Weisswurst
A sausage that is almost white in color. It is made from veal and pork, and it is seasoned with bacon, onions, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon-powder. Its texture is smooth and slightly pasty. The Weisswurst is a long-standing tradition in Munich and has become popular through local festivals, such as Oktoberfest.
Above food is made my Bavarian Sausage Kitchen. Also purchased the wonderful mustard there.

After the Packer victory Barb and I will enjoy this meal on our deck. It appears it may be the last good day in October.
