THE PEACE AND QUIET OF FISHING

The angler drove his old Ford truck down a familiar dirt road. The trees on both sides of the road had grown and covered the road in a green leafy tunnel. The angler quietly wondered to himself why some people found him odd. He didn?t keep his catch, but instead quietly released them back into the cool water from which they came.

What a great read. The Angler was indeed a Dad. Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad. Thanks for a great article.

Two grown sons of my own and this story took me back to simpler and much more fulfilling times with them at my knee. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for that read. I got to spend many of those moments with my own children and now as a grandfather I am reliving those moments with my grandaughter.
