    THE "NIGHT STALKERS"

Any fisherman who?s spends any time on the river will tell you that the really ?Big Browns? come out at night.*To that end we spend countless dollars and hours on the river in hopes of nailing the 20+ inchers.

    Default Another great fly pattern

Another great fly pattern, submitted by Tom Deschaine, for FAOL's "Fly Of The Week". I know that Ralph wrote about this fly pattern for being of great importance for the elusive "Brown Trout" that rest all day, and most come out at night. Yet I also see a use of this fly pattern on daytime waters. Fish read the waters, they do not read fly fishing books on fly patterns. They will attack and consume whatever looks to them as a possible meal, if they are hungry enough. ~Parnelli

PS: This is Tom Deschaine's 29th FOTW contribution....

    Tom,

Those patterns look like real trout triggers. I especially like the black version.
