Just heard. The media talked a lot longer than the president, but the message is the same. Bin Laden is dead and they have the body to prove it. By no means however, should we relax. Bin Landen's lieutenants will be looking for a way to glorify themselves and their ill-fated cause. The vigil must continue. A great big Atta-Boy to the troops that completed this successful mission.
Yes!!!!!!!job well done troops!!!!

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
God Bless Everyone who has given even a minute of their lives to get him. Well done to those who finally did, and God Bless the USA!!! Let Freedom ring!

U.S. citizens and organization aboard and at home should tweak their radars. My brother's twin daughters are deployed as missionaries in Spain and southern Asia. Please remember them in your prayers.
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
I stole this from Westfly:
Now I lay me down to sleep, one less terrorist this world does keep. With all my heart I give my thanks, to those in uniform regardless of ranks. You serve our country and serve it well, with humble hearts your stories tell. So as I rest my weary eyes, while freedom rings our flag still flies. You… give your all, do what you must...with God we live and God we trust.
As always thank you to the troops for doing their duty. Congrats to the C.I.A. for outstanding intelligence work too.
This is not a reason to celebrate. Before he was a powerful man, now he is a martyr with a large violent following. He was taken in a country that is supposedly an ally. A country friendly to him. A country that has nuclear weapons. A country where he had been living very comfortably for some time.
Taking him out was one of those things that needed to be done. Now we will see if the citizens have the fortitude to endure a war on terror that will most likely not be shortened but grow bloodier. Al-Qaeda's Number 2 man is still on the loose. As others have mentioned here be ready for it. There will be retaliation somewhere so go ahead and celebrate for the moment.
I might suggest that the department of Defense clamp a lid on interviews with our service members that state that the war on terror is over or will soon be ended.
I applaud our US Troops & all who support them. That being said, I totally agree with Eric's post. We can ill afford complacency.
