Just like a lot of other folks, Missouri has gotten pounded.

Last Wed, we had the tornado that ripped through St. Louis. It ripped the roof off of part of the airport and it was shut down for a couple days.
48,000 people were out of power over that ordeal. Things are quickly being cleaned up.

In southern Missouri, there have been bad storms and a lot of rain. Some areas saw over 12 inches of rain in the span of one week.
Water has been spilling over levees and flooding many towns in SE Missouri.

The Mississippi river is very high and now there is a lot of debate about breaking a levee on the Missouri side of the river to save a small town in southern Illinois.
If they do break the levee, over 100,000 acres will be flooded. If they don't break the levee and the small town in Illinois floods, it will displace about 2800 residents.
The little town is right where the Mississippi river and Ohio river meet.

So it's been a tough spring all over. Hope everyone is safe.
