    Question New member ?

How does a new tier get to log in to allow him to participate in the forums?

    Ray,

If I understand you correctly, the newbie needs to register. I saw two "register" buttons at the top of the forum page before signing in. Not sure how long the registeration approval process takes. Hopefully admin or a mod will chime in with that answer.

As a first time visitor to the bulletin board, look to the upper right corner of the black forum header. If you are a member, you will either see Log In or Log Out. If you are a non member you should see Register. I went to my wife's homepage ( as she isn't a member ) and that's what I saw. If the new person goes through the Registration Process, they should be able to participate. JMG.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

Both REE & I check the log where new folks register to become a New Member, many times per day. Not all who register are accepted.
If an application is accepted that person is notified by auto responder. When they get the approval e-mail they have all the info to log in, right then.

I personally check this feature about 8 to 10 times each day. We manage to keep out the Robots, spammers and watch for persons we feel are not what the Owner wants for members. We communicate back and forth so that REE & I keep on the same page. Sometimes we approve a person but notify each other to keep a watch and why.
We do our best to keep this site as Deanna wants.
If you ever have any questions, feel free to communicate direct with me either by phone 509-999-7472 or by personal e-mail denny@conranch.com.
I will try to help in any way I can.
