I too did a little searching in the budget proposal from the White House andthe review of the budget by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The FWS budget proposal for 2012 is $1695 million compared to actual expenditures of $1651 million in 2010. The Sport Fishing Restoration line item in the outlays spreadsheet (from The White House and reviewed by OMB) is an increase of $15million in the 2012 proposal compared to 2010 actual. I do not doubt FWS is maneuvering to share costs with other agencies. The 2012 Presidential Budget emphasizes "The 2012 Budget leverages and integrates efforts of the Fish andWildlife Service, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, andthe U.S. Forest Service, along with States, Tribes and others, to conserve themost critical landscapes."
