+1 to this. I shop and fish stuff that is strictly clearance table. I catch fish. The guys at the local shop recognize my back as it hunches over the bargain bins. I can't tell you when I paid full price for any of my equipment. Does this make me a cheap barstid? I hope so. I also hope I am doing the shop a favor by getting rid of old stock. Does this make me a little self-conscious? Yes, because I know I can't afford a Sage, or retail on anything else...but there it is.
