I'm tying some dry flies for a silent auction at a FF show. Since I enjoy tying traditional dry flies, and love fishing the mountain west, I'm tying a collection of 3 to 4 dozen flies that might have been fished in Yellowstone in the 1940's or 50's. So far I've come up with the Dry Spruce Fly, the Wulff series, Sofa Pillow, Golden Stone, H & L Variant. Would like more ideas on flies unique to the area and times, like Carmichael Indispensable and Reverand Lange. Any and all suggestions appreciated.
