Thank you folks. I am truly amazed at the level of caring shown here.
Well, he's in surgery again this morning for the ankle. I thought they had done that Saturday, but what do I know. I guess the plan is to remove the external hardware holding things together and insert pins an plates as appropriate if they can.
The news keeps getting better and better. He is out of the neck brace so that must not be serious at all. They want to do another MRI on the facial area because they are thinking the damage may not be as bad as they first thought.
