    Default Korkers Chrome/Metalhead

Anyone using the new Korkers? I like the flexibility of interchangeable soles and i like the idea of the BOA laces. What I didnt like about my last pair of Korkers was the weight. After spending the last 2 years in a pair of very light Cloudveil 8Xs with felt soles I am not looking forward to another heavy pair of boots.

i've been using the korker streamborn boots for about 4 years now. i don't thing they are heavy at all, much lighter than my chotas. unfortunately i could not find weight info on the korker site for reference to other boots. i have used all their soles and like the plain rubber studs best and the gripon studs a close second. these are not the boa lace model. as for interchanging the soles, i've done it occasionally but usually they say on for the season. now if i did a lot of float fishing, that would have been a different story. korkers do run small, i needed 2 sizes larger, wear 13 bought 15.

The Korkers aren't heavy at all, I have a pair of Korker Guides and for the weight factor they are very light as matter of a fact that was the second reason I purchased a pair of Korkers. First reason was for the interchangeable soles.

Thanks for the info guys. I will have to check them out in person. I have a pair of Korkers Wetlands, and they are very heavy/"clunky" compared to the Cloudveils.
