Default FFF Fly Fishing Fair 2011

    Dear Fly Fishing Business Leader,

The Federation of Fly Fishers will hold our 46th annual Fly Fishing Fair & Conclave on August 30th ? September 3rd in West Yellowstone, MT. Each year hundreds of businesses, like yours, help to make the event a success by attending as an exhibitor, through sponsorships, and with in-kind donations. Donations made to the Fair are tax deductible pursuant to IRS guidelines and all proceeds from the Fly Fishing Fair help the FFF to educate thousands of youth, expand public awareness of fly fishing, and protect threatened waters for the benefit of future generations.

West Yellowstone has to be one of the all-time favorite locations for the FFF annual gathering. One of the great things about the Fly Fishing Fair is that there are many activities going on at any time. Primarily the FFF presents the Fair to provide an educational experience for the beginner fly fisher to the advanced by providing topics on anything and everything about fly fishing. These opportunities come in the form of workshops which are available for a fee, to other offerings such as free programs and tying and casting demonstrations as well as introducing new products through our exhibit booths.

I would like to share with you some info on the Fair. This year the workshops will start on Tuesday August 30 and run through Saturday September 3, and we have over 75 offerings. As usual we will have demonstration tiers. We are planning to set up 24-26 tables that will provide two shifts per day. That is over 200 demonstrations over the 4 days. The Exhibit hall will be open August 31 - September 3, and will be located at the Holiday Inn with indoor and some outdoor spaces that will include both commercial and non-profit exhibitors. We added an extra day this year and the show hours are August 31st from 9am to 4pm, September 1st from 11am to 8pm, September 2nd from 9am to 5pm and September 3rd from 9am to 2pm. Thursday September 1st will be FREE entry for everyone. All our events will be held at the Holiday Inn this year so there will be a hustle and bustle going on at all times..

We are seeking general sponsors, exhibitors, and auction donations for the 2011 event. All contributors will benefit from our restructured sponsor recognition program and all event proceeds will advance the FFF mission of Conserving, Restoring, and Educating Through Fly Fishing.

The Fly Fishing Fair is a great opportunity for your business to reach a large number of people who all are attending for one purpose and that is FLY FISHING! We typically have at least 400 registrations to the show and each registration is generally 2 people. We are also open to the public, and our day passes vary between 400-500 people. What better way is there to reach potential customers and to network with fly fishers from all across the USA and other countries, and there is more than one way to do it, either by exhibiting, donating product so everyone will see your name out there, or maybe by sponsoring an event.

Thank you in advance for reading this short note and we hope to have you participate in any way you are able. I have attached the registration form and donation form to this email or you may find the sponsorship opportunities, exhibitor forms and auction donation forms on our website at www.federationconclave.org.

Please feel free to respond to this email or call me if you have any questions!

    Sincerely,
    Jessica Atherton

    Ladyfisher,

    Thanks for posting this message.

Since I am the auction coordinator for the national FFF Fly Fishing Fair / Conclave, I would appreciate any and all donations of new items from anyone. Flies are a great item to have, people love buying flies.
