Download speed

Anyone else finding that lately this site is slow in downloading?.....Just trying to figure out if it's me or.......

It's not just you. It seems to go into limbo for a while before it finally decides to load. Then on occasion when I hop from one forum to the next, it's as if it goes into ( html ) some completely other format, no color to speak of and the entire structure of pages reverts back to something very 1999-ish ( barebones basic layout. ). That has happened a couple of times today.
No hardship, just have to wait a moment or two and hit refresh, then it re-loads with the normal look.

Dave,
I may have run into what you are yesterday after doing some cleaning of the computer....He had to login again...I'm assuming because I cleaned out my cookies.

That's not what I'm talking about though....just very so downloading maybe for the last 7 to 10 days.

I've seen no differences lately, actually the reverse (I think SWMBO might have 'cleaned up' the infernal box in some manner). Mine seems to be working 'faster' than before.

She's diabolical, and not above stealing some speed from others....maybe that's where your problem arose....but you'll have to call her on it. She knows where I sleep...
