Ok, not officially for a few weeks . The temps are in the 60's and the Turkeys are doing their thing.
I am floating my favorite river Saturday!

Nice pic Dub. Spring officially starts on Sunday!
Well, I would like to think it's here too! I haven't had to wear a jacket all week! One of my patients went fishing in the creek today...I'm going tomorrow if I can, if not, then on Saturday...ahhhhhhhhhh, I can feel the tension rising off my shoulders as I type, lol.

I need to start taking my camera to work. The cell phone doesnt do the area justice. It's in the middle of the gas/oil field (private) in western Colorado where the fracing operations are under fire. There is so much wildlife, and the creeks are full of Cutthroat trout (Greenbacks). No hunting and no fishing, and to be honest. I like it that way.
We got rain, a cold rain here, we just got finished with alot of rain and some snow. Burt looking at the temps ahead day by night highs and lows I agree, its official. Spring is springing...
"Because by the Grace of God I can, be on a beautiful mountain stream with a friend , have the water boil from a 12" Native Brookie taking a self tyed dry,and feel it on the end of my cane... It don't get no better than that..."
Saturday night the frogs were in chorus for the first time this year. That is my first indicator that spring is near. Next is one of my dogs has started to shed her winter coat. It is happening.
