looking for a blank

My father is an avid catfisher and spends quite a bit of time fishing from the bank. I would like to build him a pair of catfish rods that are sort of like mini surf rods so he can reach out where the other guys can't. Ideally these rods would be 7.5-9' long 2 piece, and made out of e- glass or other similar material. I would expect these to be fairly economical blanks.

Does anyone have a suggestion where to get a blank like this?

Check out Jann's Netcraft and their line of fiberglass blanks. The Lamiglass international series of blanks might have something, too.
