    Hi pillcaster,

I don't have any technical data to back this up, but I can tell you what I observed last year. There is a local creek here that is strictly a put and take. The temp gets to warm for the trout to live in the summer. Last year, the water had been up alot. The creek wasn't out of the banks, but it was close and they stocked it. I seen a few trout holding in the water right under the bridge where they stock at later on. Of course later we had the historic May floods and I'm not sure what happened to the fish after that. They are suppose to stock the same creek this week and again the creeks are up. i was hoping for a chance to go this weekend, but I've been told I get to go shopping instead.

    Jason

PS I didnt find or see any more trout up or down stream of that bridge, so I dont' know what happened to the rest of them.
