    Default something new...

i found these elastic tungsten bodies on a german fly shop website. something different than wrapping wire. they wont be for everybody. i can already hear the groans!

Unique, pre-formed body nymph from a combination of plastic and tungsten.

A great product, complete with brains, a strong chest and a segmented body. Can be easily integrated with three-thread or with a thin Dubbingstrang on the hook shank. The high dead weight, the use of lead wire or beads unnecessary. This body can be colored with waterproof markers or colored lacquer. Available in 8 sizes.

google translated the above description, not me!

    Normand.

Great looking product. Perhaps not for the purists out there, but then many of those folks only fish with dry flies anyway. I want to complement you on always looking for new stuff and sharing it with the rest of us. I for one get lots of good ideas from your postings and appreciate what you bring to this board.

    Thanks again for sharing.

I make my own, with Rit-dyed open cell mattress foam. Like this one, the Leica Nymph (it is, sort of):

    Normand,

Can't see your pic. Says your image has been moved or deleted by?- Photobucket? I see this a lot in older posts on FAOL. Being pretty much computer illiterate, I'm not sure what, if anything I can do to see the pic? Thanks. I have a photo of a shark that I can't get posted to a thread, and haven't figured that out yet either. LOL!!

    Best regards, Dave S.
