Just out of curiosity, does Mustad still provide their Signature hooks in the plastic pop-open lidded containers that connect to each other? A couple years ago I purchased some Signature hooks at a local "big-box" store and the hooks (pk of 25) came in a hard-plastic container with a flip-open lid. On the side was a connection system that allowed you to attach these individual containers together making a chain of individually lidded storage boxes as long as you wanted. I haven't seen them lately but if Mustad used them, even if they don't anymore, "someone" must make these things and I'd have to guess they wouldn't cost very much.

Anyone have a Mustad contact that could ask them if they're available to purchase empty?

I don't know how many Mustad boxes I had like that before I realized that they connected together. FAOL member Dr. Fish lists his occupation as "North American Sales Manager of Fly-Fishing Products at O. Mustad &amp; Son / Partridge of Redditch" . You might shoot him a PM and see what he can do for you.
