Snow is gone, for the moment. I shall have to get the finger out, and start tying.
I have had a lot of ideas, to many to go into. I shall dress some Italian Alpines, and old
Scottish wet flies.

Donald,
I think I know where your missing snow went.

When you begin fishing your new flies will a tenkara rod be in your hand?
Yes, I shall be fishing the wee burns (creeks) in the local area.
Great! Have fun and if you've got a bit of spare time I'd l'd love to see a report.
Don,
Have you tried winged wets on your waters with the Tenkara? Just curious - going to the White River again and thinking of trying the Tenkara system with some wets this year !! Just started with 3 dropper wet fly fishing last year -- Loved it !! Caught a lot of Browns .. It was all new to me.

No I haven't fished at all since I bought the Tenkara rod, our closed season is all winter.
When I have had a serious 'go', I shall make some kind report in due course.
Opening day is not so far off now.

Donald, I understand that anglers poured out the opening libation into the River Kelvin last weekend. Good luck for you this season!
