    Default Salt water Fly Swap

    February Saltwater Swap
    Shrimp,Crabs or Bait fish of your choice.

    If someone is late on gettin your flies to me.....oh well we can deal with it.
    Lets have fun with it.
    NO Hurry Take your time.

    Mailing Deadline is 30 days later or so,sometime around March 5th 2011 will be ok by me.

    Doesnt really matter if you are a tad late....I'm too old and dont really care as long as we have good communication.

    1- Jeffro> Crabs and Probably a Shrimp - Both will be a realistic pattern
    2- Gigmaster> Gotcha's
    3- sjo> Baitfishimi's

    All Flies have been Returned To All (Both Participants) on 4-12-11
    Everyone has received their Flies and will now Officially close this swap on 4-23-11.
    Thanks to the kind folks here at FAOL for letting me host this swap....was interesting and fun.

    Good to see ya post Sir....that is a very good choice....I've heard they catch a wide range of saltwater species.
    Pink is good on cloudy days.

    I've been up all night tying the claws and swimmer paddles together and gettin em ready for the bodies.

    Welp I got your fly ready Gigmaster.....looks like its just you and me big guy....lol....If you'll send me your address I'll send you your crab it came out really nice ...took me 4 hours but its ready.....I think this is the wrong time of year for a saltwater swap.
    Do ya want to wait and see if anyone else is gonna sign up or would you just like for it to be a 2 person swap?
    It'll be fine with me either way.....lol

    I'm not in any particular hurry. I was going to cruise down to Florida in a month or so, so I've got plenty of time.

    Ok lets give it till next weekend and see if anyone wants to sign up and if not we can just do a one on one swap but I will send you a 1/2 dozen of assorted saltwater patterns for your trip.....Sound like a plan?

    Great. I'll come up with 6 as well. What kind of fishing do you do, flats, inshore or blue water?

    Accually I've only fished saltwater 2 or 3 times;once as a child using live shrimp with my uncle and then when I was workin on a Drillin Rig 32 miles offshore and was using spinning gear and thats about it as for saltwater....oh and also when I was out in california drilling waterwells I went to the Santa Monica beach a few times and did some more spinning rod using dead squid.......so just suprize me and I'll do the same for you.

    I'll do 6 baitfishimi's, when is due date? Just this weekend I learned to ty an imitation of a baitfish, which I like very much. You gotta see those mean eyes!

    Baitfishimi's sound perfect.....never saw one but I bet its a goodun sir.

    Lets go ahead and CLOSE the sign up window and get this thing rolling.

    Just get em to me in 30 days or so and I will send out 2 patterns as promised.
    2 patterns each would cool....if ya'll agree.
