Well, I just made a modification to My Jim Smith style platform...about 5 minutes worth.... I liked the twisting shaft to hold the distal end of the wire on The Twister above...never really happy with the double set up...
Used a 1/4" tee nut....forestner drill and regular drill...set the tee nut flush...used a 1/4" bolt and nut into the tee nut and now can hold the wire with compression like they did above.....the little things....priceless
It looks like it could be a challenge to make but it is a really a neat design. I really like how he drops the dubbing tray out of the way which makes a big difference in making nice 360 degree brushes.
