Too pricey for me at a $740 MSR, but still a cool looking vise. And a C-Clamp the converts to a Pedastal? Now THAT'S innovative!

Petitjean is probably best known for his Magic Head and Magic Tool.

renzetti has one thats more expensive but easier to set up and use

How well does it work as a pedestal? I have found that base weight plays a huge factor in stability. The lightweight nature of that convertible clamp/base has me wondering.
