    Default New Forum

I would like to thank Ladyfisher for allowing us this new Forum and RTidd for getting it in place.
I am sure this one will become a popular place to hang out and share.

... identifying other previous threads on furling and having them added to the Forum ??

    John

P.S. I'll add my thanks to Deanna and Ron, and to Jack Hise who brought this possibility up a while back, and to Betty, who I think did some good "behind the scenes" work to make it happen.

    John,

On the main page of the forum, go to the bottom to the viewing options and in the far left drop down, choose "Beginning" then "View Threads" I don't hink it is all of the furling threads, but a good number show up.

    Question Clarification

    Kevin -

    Let me clarify my question.

There are 18 threads presently listed for the Furling Forum. There have been many more threads on different aspects of furling than that started in just the three years that I have been a BB member. I'm wondering how we could go about identifying those threads and having them "relocated" from the Forum where they presently reside, e.g. on the FAOL and the Sound Off Forums, to the new Furling Forum.

For example, I put up a thread on an alternative way to do Shorb Loops on furled leaders a couple years ago. And there have been a couple threads started on building different boards or jigs for furling that aren't in the initial list of threads on the Forum. How do we go about identifying those threads and having them moved ??

As someone new to furling I really appreciate the addition of this forum. Did the Kathy Scott DVD and learned the basics but am looking for a leader that is just a little bit longer.
I'm certain that if I thought hard enough about it I could figure out where to put my pegs but I also recall seeing that in here a while back.

Doing mine with floro and when it is finished it just under 6 feet and I'd like another 12 inches. Any formulas?

Again thanks for the new forum.
