    Smile 4th Anual Snow Camp

    Camp Progress

Second photo is Casting Pool #1 - aka; summer cool off pool #1

    All set for "SnowCamp 2011"

    ----------------
This years Special Guest is a Local friend, Naturalist and Yosemite Park
    ranger, Andrew Smalldon,

I've roped Andy into talking to the kids about Job opportunities with the park
service and about his education in Conservation...

He is a very knowledgeable and one heck of a nice guy, it's going to be fun....

There is always a good fireside story to share as well...

    Happy new year!

    Steve

    Thank you Dave!

My dad always said give it your best effort and make it a full basket...

Michael and I have been having allot of fun, no question about that...
Our best effort is to pass it on.. Hopefully some of it will stick!

It is hard to believe this is the camps 4th year... Most of the kids
that have been coming since day one are off to college after the end of this school year..
    Including my Son
This is the reason I have asked Andy to pay a visit.. His background with the forest service
will give options to the youngsters, as I tell Michael, education gives you options...

Hot chocolate at the campfire isn't so bad either....

The camp has only two planed yearly events, four days each, but the gate is wide open
    year round to all!

Always share, is a Camp Motto

    Be safe
