    Ed,
On our way to Florida, we stopped at Monell's in Nashville and had okra served with somethin. It was my first experience with the stuff ( not objectionable taste) and and it became the topic at the communal table there. By the way, GREAT ENDLESS food at Monell's.

I was in the garden shop at Home Depot checking out the veggie and saw the plants in the photo, naturally I thought of my favorite Olathean.

Speaking of... When you look at the two little, green marks under her username, a message appears which says "Betty will be famous soon enough." I've got news for those two dots. Swamp Witch Betty is already famous.

    Regards,

Jesse, looking at the picture you posted, I cannot fathom what ever possessed someone to eat that! Ewwwww!

I think they were hungry had finished frying the crappie and it was a choice between okra and Brussel sprouts. Much to their surprise, the okra was good. The pigs had a good time with the Brussel sprouts. Betty, I will confess to a lot of things, I have eaten chittlins, they are not bad; love oysters on the half shell' but I don't do boiled okra, I like it fried like the Lord meant for it to be cooked or in soup, gumbo, and the list goes on.

Betty, Darlin', Swamp Witch, please try to avoid those tornado things. I worry about y'all. Keep Cary and Your Boyz safe, too. You know those spinny-windy-things would play heck with your broom.

All she has to do is fly in a counter-rotation to stop a little tornado.
