From an outsiders point (UK),I have never seen or heard a tying thread from Tiemco never mind a 16/0. Was it on sale in the USA because I am sure that it was never in the UK or I would have heard it mentioned at some point.TMC 16/0 thread is renewed! This new thread is pre-waxed and now much stronger than our previous products. Once you use this thread for tying small trout flies, you won’t be able to go back to standard 6/0 or 8/0 thread!

I can not see by Benecchi 12/0 & use it more & more for "standard" flies It, for me at least is fine tying silk. OK I can see a case for finer if you are tying micro stuff but as a general tying thread without equal to my mind. Can not see where one previous poster condems it as "too dear" It prices comparably with other makes well in the UK at least, so I guess USA would be similar. Old adage applies to pay cheap you get cheap.
