    Default Rainbows and Ice

I love the scenery and solitude of Winter fly fishing.

Two more days off, and a chance to fish a couple more rivers tomorrow. Think I better do it.

Nice bow. I occasionally fish winter, but no matter what I do, my feet freeze. I've tried big boots with liners and smart wool/different synthetics/fleece. Doesn't work for me. Maybe after the holidays I'll try the Hotronic ski boot heaters. Pricey, but gets me on the water. Also would have to buy boot foot waders to make it work. Dang circulation...

Old timers have always said--if your feet get cold, put on a warmer hat.

Neat stuff, DUB. Good fishing and pixing on your next outing.
    The fish are always right.

Nice fish and nice pix, DUB. I hope to get out here in PA at the end of the week. The temps may hit the high 30s by Thursday.

Last year at this time the high temps were in the high teens and the lows were well below zero. In 30 years it was the first time I ever saw flow ice on the Frying Pan river.
We are suppose to return to normal (Cold) weather.

How well does that rubber net function when the ambient temp is cold enough to freeze water?

Wow, I never even thought about that until you just mentioned it. It works great, stayed very flexable, and I haven't had a single issue with it this winter.
