I made a Fly Dryer this weekend. Who knows if I'll ever use it, but I recently had a microwave cease to function correctly, so I salvaged the motor and another useful piece which serves as the base, and had most of the makings for one, so I figured I might as well BUILD it!

I bought the electric cord (probably could have cut one off something no longer being used, but it was less than $2, so no big deal). I also bought a drywall sanding wheel that has foam backing. It was around $5. So, all told, the unit cost me $7.
