Yes you are entitled to pay. If you work in the store for any amount of time, you must be paid for it. Someone mentioned the W2, this is true, did you fill one out? Further, you are legally entitled to being paid for the time it took to fill out the W2, anything short of that is illegal. Just as if you got hurt you could file against workers comp as an employee. You should try to get the pay from them, he/ she probably figures it will cost them 10$ just to get the accountant to file you in the system so they are willing to overlook your time, let him know that you are not willing to overlook the price of your time. Get paid, call the rod mfr direct, fax them your endorsed guides license and get the rod... both problems solved. You get your money and you get your rod.
