Christmas fly swap ~ Now with the flip side ~
This year for Christmas I thought it was time to do something different with my best friend from back home. We normally do some sort of fishing related exchange. This year I suggested doing a six fly swap. Here is the criteria that we came up with:
1. Dry fly
2. Something with deer hair
3. Something with foam
4. Something with rubber legs
5. Something classic
6. Something funny/creative
Here are my ties:
1. Dry fly - I cheated a little on this one... part of the fly should float....
2. Something with deer hair - I thought I would mix it up a little with this one. He is probably expecting a mouse or bass popper. The crayfish head is spun deer hair.
3. Something with foam - I have tied up poppers like this before but this is the first I added a flash sticker too it.
4. Something with rubber legs - Hoppicator
5. Something classic - well... this looks classic to me...
6. Creative/Funny - I call it the food chain...
