Well. I just returned home from a trip of a few days to find my secret santa gift had arrived. I immediately tore open the box
Inside I found a very nice fly box...two sided... with clear top & bottom, the better to see what's in there... and a nice little engraved acrylic fob for my keyring. Nice little image of a fly on it. Very nice gift, and I had just been thinking about buying a fly box much like it......
Thank you Secret Santa............you know who you are. Excellent choice, and I will use it for years............ModocDan

This is a great idea Ol' Blue................Thanks for hosting !

    Look what Santa brought me!

I love them! Hand made and will be very appropriate for the flint lock muzzle loading hunting season that starts next week. I had been using a bent paper clip as a touch hole pick but not now. I still tie fies so they will be very useful there as well.

kaboom1 you are the man! Thanks Brad! I really cherish the home made stuff because they are unique, of the highest quality and lets face it there is a lot of labor of love put into them.

These are wonderfully crafted and I will show them off with pride.

Those are some great looking vent picks. I used to make my own out of forged horseshoe nails. I especially like any tools that utilize deer antler.

I just received a package in the mail today, from Winchester Oregon. A bag full of flies!! I couldn't be any happier!! If I counted correctly it was over 200 flies! I'll never need to tie a fly again. lol.

    Thanks Santa

Received my box today. Great looking selection of flys. Will give them a shot for smallmouth as well as a couple of ponds that I frequent throughout the summer. I plan on using them with the new Albright I received back in October from the drawing. Should be a good workout for both.
Also I MUST make a comment about the artwork on the top of the box the flys came in. A bass coming out of the water busting a fly. Fantastic. We have an artist in our midst.
Thank you, so much. I plan to enjoy them for quite a while.

Added--Unfortunately, I am not into taking pictures and posting them in a post. Maybe I can talk my wife into doing that for me. One of these days, maybe.
