    Default Old Time Hair Stacker

This is a picture of my old hair stacker from 30+ years ago. It is made of bar stock aluminum. It is the smoothest stacker I have ever used for all but the tiniest of flies. It is shown next to a small stacker by AK Best (my second favorite stacker). A dime shown for size comparison.
I don't think the large one is made anymore. I took it to a manufacturer and had a bunch made (quite expensive). In the process of moving, I seem to have lost them. Will keep looking.

Anyone else have this old-time stacker, and what do you think of yours???

    UPDATE!!!
Just received a new hair stacker from Jay at JVICE today. It is solid brass. Small, but nice weight to it. It has a cone shaped top insert part which makes it nice to focus the stacked tips.
It is very nice! I think it is $17.
