    Default Telephone Box Dr. Burke

Here is a picture of one of my favorite searching wet fly patterns I tyed up yesterday. This pattern is called the Telephone Box Dr. Burke. For all that has Ray Bergman's book "Trout", you will find the fly there on plate 8.

Very, very nice dressing. That rib almost looks to be two strands of black floss twisted (or furled) together. Is it just one strand twisted?

    Wonderful looking fly.

    Hi REE:

That is just one strand of floss constantly twisted while winding around the body.

Nice tie! I love the old flies, both to tie and to use.
