My grandson-in-law graduates tomorrow from the Marine First Training Battalion, Alpha Company, 1001st Platoon. His platoon is the Honor Platoon!

My granddaughter is there for graduation and they will be coming home Friday. Last I heard, he will be working at the Recruiting Office and then heading out for advanced training the first of the year.

Looks like I will be building a Marine Rod before long, too.
