50/50 glass carbon fiber handle

This handle is also a carbon fiber skin grip but is a 50/50 blend of carbon fiber and fiberglass. It is a wee bit heavier than the straight carbon fiber but still VERY light. This is a brown and black almost snakeskin weave. This was the first attempt with this material. I am going to do a fenwick grip for a bamboo restoration with this and thought I would do this first.

I am very curious to see how this works especially on a traditional bamboo rod. The old cork ring "lady's" grip has been around for a long time. I am really happy to see grips made of 21st century material.
