    Default Hardy Princess

I have a Hardy Princess reel (with a spare spool) that I don't use much anymore. It has a WF-6-F/S on the reel, and a WF-7-F/S on the spare spool. I tried to barter it for a 4 wt reel on the Trade/Barter board, but got no response, so I'll now try to sell it outright.

The Princess is part of the Hardy lightweight series, but it is not made anymore. The other reels in the series are $250-300 new, and a spare spool is over $100. I would sell the reel and the spare spool for $150, or the reel alone (with either line) for $125. The reel is in excellent shape, and has only a few scratches on it. (Unfortunately, I don't know how to do photos.)

As I understand it, the Princess was first made in 1958, and was discontinued in about 2000. You are correct that they have just started making the reel again. I had not noticed the reintroduction of the reel.

Hi I sure it's a long shot, but was hoping the hardy and the extra spool is still for sale and if so I will take it. Please contact me at bohemianflyfish@aol.com
    Thanks Bob
