Tonight is the night that many of us turn our clocks BACK one hour, and my usual is to remind you not only that but to change out the batteries in your smoke alarms. This fall there's a twist to it. If your smoke alarms/detectors are over 10 years old, they may no longer have the "sensing" ability when needed. The test button will work, either hard wired or battery, because the wiring or battery is fine, but the actual sensors may not work when needed. It's been recommended that if your detectors are over 10 years old, they should be replaced.

Be safe, and on time!!
