Secret Santa interest?

Is anyone interested in doing a secret santa this year on FAOL? What I'm thinking is having those interested to sign up, then I will randomly assign everyone a "secret santa." Santa's job will be to research their assigned person by reading their posts here on FAOL, and pick out an appropriate fly fishing gift for them. There will be a price limit of $15 or $20. Everyone will mail their gifts on the same day (sometime in mid December).

Does this sound like something worth persuing? I'm willing to organize it if there is sufficient interest.
BTW, this thread isn't a signup. I'll start a new thread if we decide to do this that will cover all of the details.

If this is a "go", count me in. Sounds like it would be fun! The wife said it might be even more fun if the gift sent was something you already had or could make. Just a thought. Definately count me in...

I don't know why used or made items wouldn't work, as long as they had similar value.

I'm pretty much strapped for cash right now, but I can certainly come up with something used or home-made. Count me in. PM me when it's a go. I'm tied up with scheduling travel & surgery. GREAT IDEA.
