    Default Thread Stopper

Seems like a lot of the times I post to an existing thread, the thread dies. Does anyone else have the same feeling. Maybe I'll stop for a while..

That happens to me also . . . . I just thought I must always give the ultimate answer, therefore no more discussion is needed!!

If it is true, the thread should die right about...

I too have noticed that, upon occasion I will post a reply and then no one else will post. Either my post was so overwhelmingly good that no one could top it or it was so underwhelmingly bad that no one wanted to post another reply. On the other hand, if there is a word 'overwhelmingly' why isn't there a word 'underwhelmingly'? Maybe I need to get out and do some fishing really soon, Yakima River here I come.

Larry AKA Sagefisher, I believe the word, 'underwhelmed' and all it's present and past participles was invented about half-past 12 on January 1, 2000. After such a big introduction and all the hoopla for Y2K, most everyone was, indeed, underwhelmed. Happy holidays. Jim

Have any of the old timers missed this thread? The newbees need to see it so they will know what happens when we get cabin fever waiting for fishing season. Jim
