Okay, I admit it, I'm a trout bum. I love the trouts, I do, just little beautiful fishes, to pretty to be enjoyed just once. That being said, I have spent my fair share of time angling for gills and crappie with both spinning gear (long, long ago) and the long rod.

My problem now is that my lovely wife VEE, is enamored with the old fashioned full feather wing bass flies, like those tied by Mary Orvis Marbury. We have MOM's book Favorite Flies and Their Histories, but we're looking for other photos/recipes for more of these beautiful flies. Their artistry rivals the Classic Salmon flies and that appeals to the artist in VEE, who would like to add a bunch to her tying collection.

Any help you could give us would be appreciated.

Thanks,

REE
